Solpod Blocks
If you can install 100 kW, you can install 1 MW
A ‘block’ of 25 Solpods fits neatly with a Sungrow SG110CX-P2 inverter, with 10 strings of 25 panels into 10 MPPTs.
Add more blocks to install larger systems
Larger systems, including up to 1 MW with STCs, are installed by replicating the blocks.
Simple DC cabling
Each row of five Solpods has two DC return cables.
Anchoring to the ground
Solpods can be anchored using:
- rammed posts (four posts, each 1 m deep for Wind Region A)
- ballast blocks (four blocks, each 120 kg for Wind Region A)
- ground anchors (four anchors, each with 3 pins)
Fixing to a roof
Each column of Solpods is fixed to four rails (or channel).
