Solpod #SET100 Certified
Solpod is thrilled to be selected by Start Up Energy Transition to be represented in the global top 100 energy start-up list! The 2021 SET100 is the start up list that features Solpod amongst other innovative energy start ups. The Start Up Energy Transition’s top 100 list recognises start-ups and companies around the world who are working on climate change and energy transition.
Solpod is proud to showcase our Australian owned and manufactured redeployable solar amongst other world leaders in clean energy technology and innovation. Solpod’s innovation is in redeployable solar, that means rooftop solar can be now rented. Solpods are prefabricated solar pods that are rapidly installed and able to be relocated.
The top 100 clean tech and energy start ups were selected from 543 applications, representing 83 countries around the world. See the full list of the top 100 selected start-ups here: 2021 SET100.
Start Up Energy Transition Top 100 Start-Ups
The Start Up Energy Transition’s SET 100 list is supported by the German Energy Agency (Dena) and the World Energy Council. The German Energy Agency said the “SET 100 list presents the most exciting projects in the energy transition start-up scene.”
Start Up Energy Transition’s Vision recognises start ups and innovation:
“We see start-ups and innovation playing a crucial role in our net zero future. Through the SET platform, we want to give a voice to the innovators of tomorrow to ensure that decision makers place innovation in energy at the top of their agendas, while industry leaders employ innovation as the clear path to their decarbonisation goals. Only then can we reverse climate change, drive the energy transition forward and secure a sustainable future.”
Solpod’s innovative redeployable rooftop solar is described as follows in the top 100 energy and mobility start ups list:
“Solpod develops a re-deployable commercial rooftop solar system that enables fast installation and can be purchased or rented on cheap and flexible terms. This way Solpod attracts customers that are unlikely to commit to a 15-25 year standard solar system.”
