In a market characterised by low cost solar modules, midday price cannibalisation, strict AC interconnection limits, and increasing land constraints, maximising raw yield per solar capacity (kWh/kWp) is no longer synonymous with maximising profit. The new metric for success is Profit per Point of Interconnection (POI).
